Cúrsa Cásca / Easter Course

Cúrsa Casca/Easter Course 04/04/12 – 12/04/12 - €400(please see application form).

Easter Course/ Cúrsa Cásca

The Cúrsa Cásca is a shortened version of our summer courses in which students are divided into specific classes depending on the needs of different age groups and exam years.

On the Cúrsa Cásca numbers are reduced which ensures individual attention. This also creates an environment in which students can feel at ease in speaking an Ghaeilge not alone to each other but also to their respective teachers. It is an ideal course for those who want to dramatically improve their Irish and/or have, Leaving or Junior Certificate Examination’s but also those who do not have time to go to a 2 or 3 week course during the summer.

The Cúrsa Cásca leaves students refreshed and ready to get stuck into the final school term having spent over a week taking part in healthy activities through the medium of Irish.

Students will receive an Irish progress report upon completion of the Easter Course.

Supervised Study/ Staidéar faoi Mhaoirseacht

We understand that students may require time to study other subjects while attending Colásite Mhuigheo. The Cúrsa Cásca provides a facility of supervised study for those who would like to study other subjects while at the Gaeltacht. The students must however bring their own books, notes, study material etc.

Course Structure/ Struchtúr an Chúrsa

All other aspects of the course are run on the same lines as the 2 or 3 weeks courses. Students will be accommodated by a Bean an Tí within the local Gaeltacht community, where Gaeilge will be the spoken language of the house.
